2019 Jeep Cherokee
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2019 Jeep Cherokee rolls into dealerships in seven exciting trim levels: Latitude, Latitude Plus, Altitude, Trailhawk, Limited, Trailhawk Elite, and Overland. Standard features on the Cherokees include 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, roof rails, all-season tires, power heated side mirrors, LED fog lamps, and automatic halogen headlamps. The Latitude Plus adds a bit more with 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, while the Altitude goes with exclusive 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels.
Although the Cherokee is a superb family car, if you’re single and looking for adventure, opt for the Trailhawk. With unique accents and badging, all-terrain tires, and 17-inch polished aluminum alloy wheels, it’s up for anything and looks the part to boot. Chrome accents and 18-inch alloy wheels adorn the Limited, while the Trailhawk Elite takes off-roading to the next level with all the features of the Trailhawk plus a hands-free power liftgate and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Overland adds 19-inch gloss-black alloy wheels.
Select from one of 10 exterior paint colors for your Cherokee: Bright White, Velvet Red, Hydro Blue, Olive Green, Pearl White, Diamond Black, Billet Silver, Light Brownstone, Granite Crystal, and Firecracker Red.
Wrangler purists will be relieved to know that the 2019 Wrangler still carries the 285-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine, but a new engine emerges that will surprise and delight. This year, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine joins the lineup for the first time. Despite its smaller displacement, the turbocharged component of the vehicle affords the Wrangler 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque with maximum efficiency.
The 2019 Jeep Wrangler earns the prestigious Trail Rated badge for the umpteenth time in a row, so you know you’ll have all the capacity you need to blaze new trails. At the core of this rating are three four-by-four systems: Rock-Trac, Command-Trac, and Selec-Trac. Using selectable modes that power the wheels as necessary, the Wrangler has better grip and more agility than its competitors. From the pavement to a mountain ascent, you’ll feel confident as the 2019 Jeep Wrangler cruises over the terrain unscathed.
Jeep made a vested effort to make the Wrangler more comfortable, upgrading the seats and providing room for up to five passengers with a bit more legroom and hip room. The Detroit automaker also packed in more tech features than ever. In 2019, the Wrangler boasts SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the Uconnect infotainment system, which is accessed through a vibrant 8.4-inch touch-screen display.
Aimed at making the Wrangler safer than ever, Jeep adds advanced driver-assist safety features to the mix in 2019. Adaptive cruise control, trailer sway control, rear cross-path detection, blind spot monitoring, full-speed forward collision warning, and a rearview camera are just some of the top safety features this year.
