Trim Levels (Exterior)

For the 2019 model year, the Jeep Wrangler rolls into showrooms in five exciting trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Rubicon, and Moab. Standard features on the Wrangler include 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, the iconic Jeep grille, and new flared fenders that combine form with function. A fold-down windshield is one of the more exciting new amenities in 2019, enabling you to feel the rush of the wind as you drive along the beach or crawl your way across boulders and outcroppings. The removable top, windows, and doors come back for this year, adding to the open-air appeal of the Wrangler.

Signature LED lighting, model-exclusive badging, side-assist steps, larger all-terrain tires, 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and a one-touch power moonroof (hardtop only) round out the features of the 2019 Wrangler’s upper trims.

Choose from one of eight colors for the 2019 Wrangler: Bright White, Granite Crystal, Black, Billet Silver, Mojito!, Firecracker Red, Hellayella, and Punk’n Metallic.

Engine (Power)

Wrangler purists will be relieved to know that the 2019 Wrangler still carries the 285-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine, but a new engine emerges that will surprise and delight. This year, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine joins the lineup for the first time. Despite its smaller displacement, the turbocharged component of the vehicle affords the Wrangler 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque with maximum efficiency.

The 2019 Jeep Wrangler earns the prestigious Trail Rated badge for the umpteenth time in a row, so you know you’ll have all the capacity you need to blaze new trails. At the core of this rating are three four-by-four systems: Rock-Trac, Command-Trac, and Selec-Trac. Using selectable modes that power the wheels as necessary, the Wrangler has better grip and more agility than its competitors. From the pavement to a mountain ascent, you’ll feel confident as the 2019 Jeep Wrangler cruises over the terrain unscathed.

Jeep made a vested effort to make the Wrangler more comfortable, upgrading the seats and providing room for up to five passengers with a bit more legroom and hip room. The Detroit automaker also packed in more tech features than ever. In 2019, the Wrangler boasts SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the Uconnect infotainment system, which is accessed through a vibrant 8.4-inch touch-screen display.

Safety Features

Aimed at making the Wrangler safer than ever, Jeep adds advanced driver-assist safety features to the mix in 2019. Adaptive cruise control, trailer sway control, rear cross-path detection, blind spot monitoring, full-speed forward collision warning, and a rearview camera are just some of the top safety features this year.
