There is a single engine offered on the 2020 Jeep Compass, which makes for a fun and sporty ride, though three different transmissions are available. This lets you choose the functionality that is best for you and what you need, while still getting high overall performance.
The 2020 Jeep Compass comes with a 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir I-4 engine that delivers up to 180 hp and up to 175 lb-ft of torque. While that might be quite a bit less than you would find in a larger vehicle, for a compact SUV like this, it is more than sufficient. This comes with 4WD standard, and when properly equipped, you can get up to 2,000 lbs. of towing capacity with the Compass.
There are three different options for the transmission on the 2020 Jeep Compass, starting with a 6-speed manual that comes on the starting trims. The 2020 Jeep Compass Limited comes with rain brake support with an electric park brake, a remote start system with a security alarm, and front-seat active headrests. It also has a ParkView rear back up camera with active grid lines that make it easier to back up safely in a crowded area or tight spot. The Jeep Compass features seven airbags, including advanced multistage front, front, and rear side-curtain, and front-seat-mounted ones.
