Inside the 2020 Ram 2500: Trim by Trim
The 2020 Ram 2500 is available in six amazing trims. The Tradesman is the base model, and it’s the ideal work truck for construction crews, landscaping teams, and even people working in agriculture. The seats are covered in vinyl upholstery that is work-grade. For entertainment along the way, the infotainment system is displayed on a 5-inch touchscreen that operates with Bluetooth connectivity. You can make and receive calls, send text messages, and even stream music. A USB port is also included for charging your mobile device on your way to work.
The second trim is known as the Bighorn. This nifty model offers four unique interior color combinations for more customization options, cloth upholstery, and carpeted floors. The touchscreen interface in this trim is upgraded to a 12-inch monitor that operates with an added rearview camera and Alpine sound system with nine speakers. And advanced safety features on this trim include lane-keeping assist and lane-departure warning.
The most popular trim is the Laramie. People tend to gravitate towards this model because it has a great balance of high-tech features, and it’s still available at a more affordable price. Inside the cabin, you will notice soft-touch surfaces, ambient lighting, and leather-trimmed upholstery with subtle suede inserts for a classy look. Stepping up to the Power Wagon model redesigns the cabin in all black and graphite. This rugged style is very appealing for folks who like a tougher look.
If you are more partial to the western appearance, the Laramie Longhorn is every cowboy’s (or cowgirl’s) dream ride. Most of the styling elements are seen on the outside, which we will cover shortly. However, the cabin is also dripping with southwestern charm. Genuine wood accents the dashboard, and alligator embossed accents really tie the whole look together.
Finally, the Limited trim is the top-of-the-line model. Featuring wood and aluminum accents inside the cabin and full leather upholstery, you can’t find a more luxurious heavy-duty truck than this one. The UConnect 4C NAV infotainment interface is displayed on an 8.4-inch touchscreen. It functions with a navigation system, a 4G LTE Wifi hotspot, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and HD radio. You can listen to anything you want through the upgraded Harman Kardon sound system, and it comes with a staggering 17 speakers. You can have your own personal concert on your way to work.
